Somali Peace Line (SPL) child right Governance project team organized one day meeting validation workshop forgovernment officers based on the budget analysis report which was intended to discuss the process to increase budget for the children, Budget Advocacy for Children pay increasingly greater attention to the link between the well-being of children and the willingness of Somali federal governments to invest in programs and services that promote the well-being of Somali children at large.

In response to the interventions needed by the children the Somali Peace Line (SPL) child right governance project team led by SPL Chairman has organized and completed an important one Day meeting on Budget Advocacy which was attended six line ministries like, Ministry of Health, Education, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Women Human Right Development and Ministry of Justice including members from parliamentarian Committee as well as Civil Society Organization Members in Central South Somalia (CSS) and Child Right Coalition members in order to ensure the realization of child rights in government budgets.

The main objective of this meeting was to undertake advocacy campaigns to improve legal and policy environment for children in Somalia and enhance government’s investment in children through putting in place the Implementation mechanisms of UN Convention on the Rights of Children and to open a room for discussion towards the budget advocacy.

2. To build the capacities of the community groups to enable them solve their internal problems, through research, conflict resolution, consultation meetings and discussions with specific issues and public concerns.
Organizational Philosophy
SPL is committed to persuade the Somali society to be amenable to understand themselves and their nature, their potentials and limitations, their place in the universe and relationships with each other and with whole mankind.
Organizational Structure
The General Assembly is the highest body of SPL. It has a governing body, which comprises a chairman, programme manager, Admin and finance manager and project managers that mobilizes the required resources and ensures effective management of the organization.
